february round up
Covid finally got us. It didn’t come at the worst time; it was half term and storms were raging outside.
january round up
Hi, 2022! I crawled into the new year this year like an animal coming out of hibernation.
november round up
November, where did you go? I have been consuming so much audio this past month, Miriam Margoyles’ book, This Much I Know Is True as well as the Adam Buxton Ramble Book. Both hilarious, brilliant humans.
october round up
Another month scuppers by. I have been head down working with some lovely projects; two websites, some brochures and one branding project on top of my contract work. It’s been mad but my hours are reducing as of next week and I will be able to concentrate on a few different things without feeling as much overwhelm.
september round up
Back to school/work month. September finally brought the summer sunshine and along with it my beautiful Mama from America. It also brought mine and Joe’s birthdays and the start of new schools and jobs. All change all change.
august round up
Wow the summer wizzed by! A short one today because I am working like a mad woman on a new retainer, which I am loving. Learning some new programmes and topping up my freelance cup with some contract work. Ah balance…
june round up
Well that is June (gloom) done. There have been some dips in the sea and paddle boarding sessions
may round up
I think May is my favourite month but this one really did not bring its finest self to the party.
april round up
This month I finally got to return to my favourite place for a much needed break, Daymer Bay in Cornwall.
march round up
It has been a year now since the pandemic arrived and all the chaos that has ensued. It has been so many things for me and us, heartbreaking and confusing but in a way it has pushed me down all sorts of paths which have caused me to grow and get closer to who I am and so I am grateful for that.
february round up
There goes the shortest month of the year, rung in during the madness of lockdown and spat out in the sunniest of days on the beach and in the (still very cold) sea.
november round up
It’s officially the lead up to Christmas. My toes are numb writing this at my desk and I have 2 candles on the go.
october round up
“In the depths of a crisis, a less punishing and more beneficial use of one’s time would be a combination of self-care and self-reflection.”
july round up
July just flew by with 2 camping trips, a few lovely design projects and lots of time spent on the beach
