june round up
June (gloom) is done. Despite the rain there have been some dips in the sea and paddle boarding outtings. I have been working for Leon a lot this past month as well as finishing up a few websites and a nutritionist’s branding project. All alongside my lovely Mighty Green who have some really exciting new CBD products on the way.
What I Read This Month
1. At Night All Blood Is Black by David Diop
2. Sorrow & Bliss by Meg Mason
3. The Hungover Games by Sophie Heawood
4. The End of Men by Christina Sweeney-Baird
Sorrow and Bliss; this book made me so exquisitely happy. Meg’s sense of humour and deadpan writing has put this into the top 2 books I have read this year (alongside Hamnet, they are polar opposites). It is so hard to follow a book you have loved deeply but this was a lucky selection and I tore through Sophie Heawood’s Hungover Games which also had me in hysterics. Sophie’s writing is so concise and well edited, funny and astute.
